Q: What type of business is Accelerators Club specifically designed for?

A: The typical MSP in Accelerators Club is between $1 million and $10 million in revenue and wants to grow but is lacking a consistent marketing and sales effort. The average is around $3 million. We do have additional programs for smaller and larger MSPs. Note that one of my advisors will be able to prescribe the best program for you after you apply. 

A: This is a 24-month implementation program because of the depth and breadth of the strategies, systems and marketing assets we implement with you and for you. You may cancel the program after that and incur no penalties or fees, but we hope to retain you and keep you as a client forever. You also have the option to renew your membership, upgrade to a higher level of membership or even downgrade to a lower level if that is what works best for you.  

A: A core belief we have is this: If you can’t make money without money, you can’t make money with money either. Many of the campaigns and strategies will cost you absolutely nothing, while others will cost you significantly more (Google PPC, outbound SDR campaigns, trade shows, etc.). The way the program is built, you can customize which campaigns and strategies you want to do based on your individual goals and budget. 

NOTE: Best-in-class MSPs budget 11% of topline revenue for sales and marketing combined. This includes media, printing, employee salaries, 1099, CRM software, websites, etc.  
 

A: Some of the strategies will give you an instant boost in opportunities, appointments and sales (in less than 30 days). Others will take longer to result in actual sales (3 to 9 months) due to the natural discovery and proposal process you go through with a new client.  

Ultimately, the answer to this question largely depends on how quickly and to what degree you implement the strategies contained in the program, your starting point, current resources (people, lists, clients, budget, etc.) and how skilled you are at selling and the client type you are targeting (enterprise deals or co-managed IT services may take longer due to longer sales cycles).  

A: If that’s true, we have other budget-friendly options for you. We also know of MDF (marketing development funds) from various vendors that can help pay for some of the services we offer. The best thing to do is fill in an application on this website and talk to one of our advisors about which of our programs would be best suited for you. 

However, starving your business of sales and marketing is a guaranteed way to continue to be broke. All businesses require an investment, and the best investment you can make is into yourself and your education on HOW to get more clients and make more money. As Warren Buffet said, the BEST investment you can make is into your own education because it can’t be taxed, stolen or lost. 

The money for this program (or any marketing program) isn’t going to magically appear, so if you cling to the “I’m broke” excuse, you’re locking yourself into your current situation forever.   

A: Legally, we cannot make any income or results claims, even if they are true. However, I can confidently say that IF you follow our advice, you WILL SEE RESULTS, as evidenced by the hundreds of case studies and reviews. To date, the average MSP that goes through this program sees an increase of $219,957 in sales, but that is not a guarantee that you will see the same results or any results. But if you aren’t getting the ROI you need, we will continue to work with you, investing one-on-one time if necessary, to make sure you get an acceptable ROI. 

A: Yes, of course. Here’s what they have in common: 

  1. They don’t follow the playbook. We have very specific and details instructions on how to use the campaigns. Like a recipe, they have to be followed to produce the results. There are some people who stubbornly refuse to follow the steps because they don’t “like” the way something looks or sounds, they think they know better than us or they are lazy and want to skip steps. Obviously this compromises the results they get.  
     
  2. They don’t implement. We’re excellent at designing winning marketing and sales strategies, but they ALL require you to take SOME action. How much time and effort you put in can be modified to fit your situation, but ultimately you have to do SOMETHING. This is not a “no work” program. Getting clients, increasing sales and growing your business requires effort. There’s no magic pill or shortcut. You have to be willing to do the work.  
     
  3. They don’t reach out to use when struggling. We have MULTIPLE ways to get help, from the member portal to a dedicated Client Success Manager. But if you don’t tell us you’re struggling, we can’t help. If you are struggling, we will help you.  
     
  4. They don’t show up. You can’t get fit if you don’t show up to the gym and put the reps in.  

A: I know you’re BUSY, but are you actually profitable with healthy growth, high-value clients and a reliable stream of income? If not, your business is broken and you’re working on the wrong things.  

Waiting until you’re “not busy” to work on marketing is a fallacy. It presupposes that sometime in the future you WON’T be busy and therefore will be able to work on marketing. The truth is you will always be too busy, too broke, too understaffed and too overwhelmed. 

When would you like to finally break free from this “too busy” and “not the right time” excuse and make progress on profitable growth?  

The right time or “slow” time NEVER comes along because there is always some project, problem or issue that takes up your time and attention. 

If you wait, all you do is set yourself up to stay small and stuck where you are.  

Usually the people who give this as an excuse have been working in their business like a lunatic for years, making zero headway in generating real growth and profitability. They’re stuck working IN their business instead of ON their business.  

The process of attracting new, profitable, high-value clients is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing for any MSP to invest time in because most of your stress, problems and anxiety come from NOT having enough money.

A: If your intention is to grow your business, then yes, at some point you need to start hiring sales and marketing people. HOWEVER, you don’t want to do that until you know what you’re doing and have a plan in place. 

Our program will give you a STRATEGIC marketing plan and teach you what needs to be done and how so that you can intelligently hire the right team at the right time, building your marketing and sales engine.  

We also provide training, templates and guides on when to start hiring, who to hire, how to compensate them and how to manage them.   

A: The Accelerators program is NOT for startups. You must have at least $500,000 or more in revenue before joining. However, we do have programs for startups and MSPs generating under $500,000 in sales. Book a consultation with one of our advisors and we’ll discuss more economical options that are a better fit for you. 

A: No, and there are several reasons why this should not concern you: 

  • There are over 100 different marketing and sales strategies in the program and over 7,500 templates and resources. You have a lot to choose from. 
     
  • The templates are 90% ready to go; however, we show you how to customize them to your specific target market, USP (or “unique selling proposition”) and business so you can personalize them and differentiate yourself from the competition. 
     
  • Many of the strategies are not an e-mail or marketing piece you send out. For example, we’ll show you how to set up referral campaigns that will obviously be seen only by your current clients. We’ll show you how to set up strategic partnerships and JV relationships that will send you a flood of qualified leads. We’ll show you SYSTEMS for prospecting, networking events, trade shows, webinars and social media. Which brings us to another point… 
     
  • While we do provide a number of Done-For-You templates, we sincerely hope you don’t only use one template and ignore the well-researched, tested and articulated strategies for developing a USP, picking a profitable target market, securing POWERFUL testimonials, case studies and online reviews. We also cover how to package and price your services, professionalize your account management and SELL your services. 
     
  • Your biggest worry should not be whether or not your competition is sending the same campaign. Your biggest concern should be that you don’t have a marketing plan in place or a single reliable way to secure more revenue and clients.  

 

That is a MUCH bigger threat to your business and financial security than your competition sending out the same flyer. I would suggest that you would be far better off to stay clear and focused on your objectives and making sure YOU are forming the right habits, studying the right materials and consistently working on building a marketing system in your business; do that and success will surely follow. There is a greater danger in NOT doing these things than anything your competition could do.

A: This program was primarily designed for MSPs, so unless you plan on changing your business model to an MSP (managed IT services provider) or adding that onto your services, this is not the right program for you
